In the lead up to summer, TV channels were spouting predictions of a super hot one. Complete bollocks…I have a fan outside my sanding bay that I havent turned on once. Usually I have it cranking throwing a breeze through while I sand boards over the summer months. Normally you can go for a dawny in the height of summer with a vest and boardies. This sequence of Matt Scorringe he is rocking a steamer. Maybe February will come thru with the goods. I surfed today in boardies and a vest and it was ok but still a touch on the refreshing side. Fingers crossed for a late summer and warm autumn!

I just had a look at the STAB site and they’re debating the best air for 2011 in a WCT event. Julian Wilsons varial was nominated in the top 5. I reckon the one I shot of Eric Geisleman in NZ this year shits on Julian’s. While it wasnt in a Ct event he managed to throw down over half a dozen crazy airs in the space of 45mins. All landed cleanly.

Bar was actually pretty good for a few days the other week. Havent seen it break like that for a long while. Wasnt the Bar of old with the good baz section from take off but still pretty fun. Was actually peeling thru a fair way. Lets hope they dont dredge the harbour anytime soon and fark it up again….

….. haha….The truth of the matter is that HC was too deep and although the angle makes out that PC was in the wrong HC was non-plussed and no words were exchanged. I should work for a tabloid newspaper…..Bending the truth is really easy.
