What do thousands of dollars of camera equipment and the ocean have in common?

What you cant see in this photo is Cozza's trail of destruction behind him. Just out of view is three broken mirrors, two ladders and a frisky black cat. All accusations of Cory being impersontated by the bloke of the latest 'The Batchelor' series are totally unsubtaintiated and untrue. Rumours of the Digga impersontating a beached whale are totally substantiated..

NZ Surfing Magazines acclamied photographer(yes acclamied! Far King Qantas Media Award Winning acclamied) Cory Scott has probably the worst luck of anyone I know. I reckon as a teen he sat throwing rocks at mirrors and purposely crossed the paths of black cats while walking under ladders. I dont know how many times I’ve said to him “Fark you got some bad luck…” I actually even sent him my lucky fourleaf clover that I kept in my wallet for years. But alas to no avail and probably the reason I didnt win the REALLY big Big Wednesday… Damn you Cozz.

Anyway recently things went a little pear-shaped (once again!!!) for Cozz while shooting Scar Reef in Indo. A stray maimed Dingo attacked his boat that he was shooting from and ended up capsizing Cozz, The Captain and …..yip all the camera gear. So what do expensive camera gear and the ocean have in common? ANSWER: Not far King much if you ever want to use the camera gear again!

For Cozza’s take on what happened check the NZ Surf Mag Blog–  http://nzsurfingmagazine.wordpress.com/2009/07/10/the-ozzies-do-it-again/
