Go Shanksy

Whangamata’s Paul Shanks was recently flown to Ericera, Portugal to speak on behalf of The NZ SurfBreak Protection Society. If you gave Paul a dollar for every hour he has spent protecting NZ surfbreaks and also the monitoring of water quality around Whangamata he would be a rich man. He has never done it for a dollar though he has done it for the greater good of all us surfers that enjoy the ocean. Watch the clip till the end, Paul is there with a quick speil surrounded by a bunch of enviromentally concious surfers that all deserve a pat on the back for the tireless effort they put in on behalf of all of us…
